Terms & Conditions
Effective from 2026-08-08
Machbaro is operated by Oleksii Pokrovskyi, a sole proprietor registered in Ukraine. Full provider details are in the Legal Notice.
1. Subject
Machbaro is a software-as-a-service platform for cafés, restaurants, bars and similar venues. For a subscription, the operator gets a digital menu, QR codes for tables, a way to receive orders through the venue's page, and the tools to manage all of it. Which features are available depends on the plan.
2. Business use
Machbaro is intended for businesses and for individuals acting in the course of their trade, craft or profession, and is not intended for private use. By registering, the user confirms they are acting in that capacity.
3. Account
The details given at registration must be accurate and kept up to date. The user is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for activity under their account.
4. Trial
Once setup is complete, a free 7-day trial begins; no payment card is required and the service is fully available. The trial is granted once per venue and is granted by Machbaro itself, not by a payment provider.
5. Subscription and prices
After the trial, an active subscription is required for continued operation. It runs monthly and renews automatically until cancelled.
The base price for Basis is 10 EUR per month. Depending on the buyer's location, checkout may display and charge an equivalent amount in another supported currency; that conversion is performed by the payment provider, not by Machbaro, and no particular exchange rate is promised. Whether tax applies, and at what rate, depends on the buyer's country. The final amount including tax is shown before the purchase is completed.
The language chosen for a venue has no effect on price or billing currency.
6. Payment processing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
The purchase is therefore handled by Paddle, which collects the payment, deals with the applicable transaction taxes in that role and issues the invoice. The software itself is provided by Machbaro.
Card details are entered with Paddle; we do not receive full card details.
Before starting a paid subscription, these terms and the Refund Policy must be accepted.
7. Cancellation
The subscription can be cancelled at any time. Access remains until the end of the billing period already paid for. No pro-rata refund is given for the current period, except where required by applicable law. Details are in the Refund Policy.
8. End of trial or subscription
If no payment is made: the operator can still sign in and view their data, changes are no longer possible, the venue's public page is unavailable and new orders are not accepted. The venue's data is preserved. After a successful payment, full access returns automatically.
9. The operator's responsibilities
Towards their guests, the operator alone is responsible for the content and accuracy of the menu, the food and drinks offered, prices and how they are displayed, information on ingredients and allergens, availability, preparation, handover and any delivery, and for complying with the rules that apply to them.
Machbaro is not a hospitality business, nor a seller, producer or deliverer of food. We provide the software through which a venue receives its own orders.
10. Acceptable use
Unlawful content, interference with the security or availability of the platform, circumventing technical restrictions, sharing or reselling access, and automated access that disrupts the service are not permitted.
11. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance and further development are reserved; significant changes to the feature set will be announced.
12. Termination by us
In the event of serious or repeated breaches of these terms we may suspend access or end the agreement. The user will be informed.
13. Rights in content
The platform, including software, design and brand, remains ours. Content added by the operator remains theirs; they grant us the right to store it and display it to their guests as part of the service.
14. Liability
We are liable in accordance with statutory provisions. We are not liable for the operator's content, statements or performance towards their guests.
15. Changes to these terms
Changes are published on this page with their effective date; we will additionally notify users of significant changes.
16. Applicable law
Mandatory rights available to the buyer under the law of their country of residence remain unaffected by these terms. The purchase handled by Paddle is additionally subject to Paddle's terms towards the buyer.
